Young athletes will have the opportunity to learn from varsity football coaches during the Mount Vernon Youth Camp of Champions, scheduled for July 16–18 at Fighting Jackets Stadium.
According to the organizers, the camp will run each evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and is open to boys and girls entering kindergarten through 8th grade. All skill levels are welcome. The event is designed to introduce fundamentals, build skills, and help develop the future of the Mount Vernon football program.
Campers will be coached by the Mount Vernon High School varsity staff, offering participants a unique opportunity to train under experienced leadership in a high-energy setting. Sessions will focus on agility, technique, teamwork, and football IQ.
Organizers are asking families to register by July 4 to ensure proper T-shirt sizing and streamline camp communications. Registration can be completed online, and payment is available through the Mount Vernon City Schools website.
