The Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) women's soccer team has announced its 17-game schedule for the 2025 season.
According to MVNU, the women's soccer team, led by head coach Sarah Maracani, will commence its 2025 season at home on August 23 against Shawnee State at CH4 Stadium. Additional nonconference home games include matchups with West Virginia Tech, Indiana University Kokomo, and UC Clermont. The team will also play away games before league play at Cleary, Siena Heights, Northwestern Ohio, and Rio Grande.
Crossroads League action is set to begin on September 24 at Goshen College. MVNU’s first home conference game will be on September 27 against Bethel University. The team's nine-game league schedule will conclude on October 29 at home against Huntington, followed by the conference tournament starting November 5.
Maracani is entering her seventh season as head coach with a career record of 53-45-16 at MVNU and an overall record of 66-52-16. She has previously led the team to back-to-back NAIA National Tournament appearances in 2019 and 2020. James Maracani serves as assistant coach; he is a graduate of Spring Arbor and a former baseball player. The 2025 roster includes players from Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, featuring a mix of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards from various academic years.
