KCH has announced the addition of Dr. Samuel Anderson to its Endocrinology department. Dr. Anderson began his education at the University of Cincinnati, earning a pharmacy degree and becoming a registered pharmacist. He later pursued a medical degree at the same university before completing his residency and a Fellowship in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Penn State University.

Dr. Anderson brings 23 years of experience to the community, focusing on building relationships with patients and guiding them through the medical system. His expertise covers various endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal gland disorders, and metabolic bone disease. He plans to establish a team aimed at preventing complications from chronic medical conditions.

"Diabetes takes over a large portion of what an Endocrinologist sees," said Dr. Anderson. The focus will be on both medication and non-medication treatments to manage diabetic disease, prevent complications, and reduce hospitalizations.

Patients are encouraged to discuss referrals with their primary care providers or contact the office directly at 740.399.3890 for scheduling.
