According to the press release, the Rho Nu at-Large Chapter, a collaboration between Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Ashland University, has been recognizing excellence since its establishment in 2002. This year, 16 nursing students were inducted for their academic performance, clinical proficiency, and leadership qualities in the nursing field.

The new inductees from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) include both junior and senior students from various locations, each demonstrating a commitment to the nursing profession. Sigma Theta Tau International, founded in 1922, now boasts over 100,000 members globally across more than 600 chapters worldwide. Its members work in diverse roles including clinical practice, education, research, and healthcare leadership.

Gregg added that "the department is incredibly proud of these deserving students who have been inducted into the society."
