Mount Vernon Nazarene University is set to reintroduce its in-person MBA program this August, after several years of offering only online graduate programs. Classes will take place every Monday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the university's main campus.

Dr. Eric Stetler, Vice President for Academic Affairs, expressed enthusiasm about the program's return: "We’re thrilled to launch the MBA on our main campus this August." He emphasized that the face-to-face format aims to meet students' needs for personal growth through direct learning and collaboration.

The program is designed for working professionals, balancing coursework with real-time collaboration and networking opportunities. Johnna Vanover, Vice President of University Marketing and GPS Enrollment, said: "We’re so excited to offer this one-night-a-week MBA program to adults who are balancing work, life, and education."

The curriculum begins with Ethical Leadership and includes courses such as Organizational Behavior and Legal Issues. The following year features classes like Managerial Economics and Marketing Management. Students can choose from seven online concentrations or an in-person concentration in Organizational Management before completing their degree by March 2027.

Dr. Stetler noted that while online programs remain popular, many students prefer the engagement of classroom learning: "Offering the MBA in person allows us to build stronger relationships...and provide a dynamic environment that prepares students to lead with confidence and clarity."
