PUBLIC NOTICE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Knox County Board of Commissioners, Knox County, Ohio, will receive sealed bids for Asphalt Patching Material 2025 in its office located at 117 East High Street, Suite 161, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 until 10:10 a.m. on April 29, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
Materials shall conform to the State of Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Materials Specifications 2019.

Item 441 - Type 2 Asphalt Concrete (PG64-22)
Prices shall be on a per ton basis, F.O.B. at your plant and hauling to be performed by the Knox County Highway Department. Your plant location must be specified in the bid.
All prices quoted for Item 441, Type 1 and 441, Type 2 will be effective for the calendar year of 2025, and based on an estimated quantity of 4600 tons for Item 441, Type 1 and based on an estimated quantity of 50 tons for Item 441, Type 2.
Proposal forms may be obtained at the office of the Knox County Engineer, 422 Columbus Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050. All proposals shall be sealed and marked on the outside of the envelope “Asphalt Patching Material 2025”.
The successful bidder will be required to execute the contract within 15 days after the award of the bid. In case of failure to execute the contract as stated, the bidder will be considered to have abandoned the contract.
The Knox County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
