Mount Vernon City Schools invites senior citizens to attend their annual Spring Luncheon on Tuesday, April 22, from noon to 2 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. The event, regarded as a tradition, aims to foster community engagement and appreciation.
Superintendent Bill Seder expressed his anticipation for the gathering, stating, "Mount Vernon is a special place made even better by the treasure we call our ‘Senior Citizens’." Attendees will have the chance to connect with other community members, converse with students, and enjoy a meal prepared specifically for them.
