HS & MS Families Seder Service

Join us on Thursday, April 17 from 6-7 p.m. at New Life Church, 665 Harcourt Road in Mount Vernon, for a unique Seder Service designed for high school and middle school families, where you’ll explore the biblical roots of communion, participate in traditional Passover elements with a Christ-centered perspective, and learn how Jesus fulfilled ancient prophecies in a family-friendly environment featuring a light, appetizer-style dinner, an engaging and interactive presentation for all ages, and meaningful opportunities to see, taste, and experience the Passover story through the lens of faith, tradition, and the message of Jesus’ life and purpose.

Keep It Wild: Earth Day Celebration 2025

Celebrate Earth Day at the Brown Family Environmental Center’s free Keep It Wild! festival on Saturday, April 19, from Noon-4 p.m., where guests can enjoy live music, food trucks, children’s games and hands-on activities, as well as engaging wildlife experiences featuring nocturnal mammals from Ohio Nature Education, fascinating insects from OSU’s United Titanium Bug Zoo, and awe-inspiring birds of prey from the Ohio Bird Sanctuary, alongside interactive booths hosted by environmentally-focused vendors and organizations—all located at 9781 Laymon Road in Gambier and perfect for families, nature lovers, and anyone passionate about protecting our planet and its creatures.
