Ohio University announces Fall 2024 President's List

Ohio University announced the Fall 2024 President's List as part of its ongoing effort to honor academic achievements, alongside the Dean's and Provost's Lists each semester. The announcement was made in a press release on March 4, 2025, through Merit Pages.

According to Merit Pages, the following students from Ohio were named to the President's List: Dallas Cornett of Centerburg, Alicia Graham and Madelyn Schaffer of Frazeysburg, Garrett Hartsook of Centerburg, Brett Krider of Howard, Madison Lewis of Mount Vernon, Shelby Maurer of Fredericktown, Dori McCoy of Sparta, Hannah Oney and Lydia Oney of Utica, Rachel Ruth and Ashley Scarberry of Mount Vernon.

Ohio University states that the President's List recognizes undergraduate students who achieve a 4.0 GPA for at least 12 credit hours of letter-graded courses in a semester or those who earn 12 credit hours with no GPA and maintain a 4.0 GPA in letter-graded courses, provided they were also on the list in the prior semester.

Lori Stewart Gonzalez is the 23rd President of Ohio University. She guides the institution with a Dynamic Strategy to improve services for students and the state. Gonzalez holds a BA in speech pathology from the University of Kentucky, an MA in communication disorders from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Florida. Dr. Gonzalez has taught at Southern Illinois University and the University of Kentucky for over a decade.
