Founded in March 2000, the Central Ohio Joint Fire District (COJFD) is marking its 25th anniversary with a community celebration.

COJFD invites everyone to join them for a free spaghetti dinner on Thursday, March 13, starting at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at 5138 Columbus Road, Centerburg, Ohio 43011.

The COJFD is dedicated to serving Centerburg Village, Hilliar Township, and Milford Township in Knox County, Ohio. Their services extend to South Bloomfield Township and Sparta Village in Morrow County, ensuring that residents are protected and cared for by a team of skilled firefighter paramedics. Staffed 24/7, the COJFD stands ready to respond to emergencies at any time.

Chief Mark McCann, who brings nearly three decades of senior leadership experience, leads the team. Alongside him, Tom Stewart, representing the Village of Centerburg, serves as the Chairman of the COJFD Fire Board. Erick Cockran and Pete Dickerson, representing Hilliar and Milford Townships respectively, also contribute to the leadership team.

The 25th anniversary celebration is not only a way to honor the district's achievements but also an opportunity for the community to come together. The COJFD looks forward to sharing this milestone with the residents they serve.
