Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market has announced it is seeking vendors for the 2025 season, with applications due by March 10. This information was released in a news statement.

According to the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market, the market operates in Centerburg and aims to provide locally grown food and agricultural products. The 2025 season will run from June 5 to September 4, every Thursday evening from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bell Park, located at the intersection of E Main and Clayton Streets. The market seeks to expand its selection to better serve the local community and surrounding areas.

The market committee is actively seeking vendors, prioritizing fresh produce, eggs, maple syrup, fruit, coffee, pastries, and specialty foods. A survey found that 77% of shoppers attend primarily for fresh produce. The market will also feature local artisans selling handcrafted goods and offer educational workshops on topics such as beekeeping, mushroom cultivation, gardening, canning, and preserving. Those interested in leading workshops can contact Market Manager Katie Hux.

Vendor applications are due by March 10, with selections announced on March 12. A mandatory meeting for new vendors is scheduled for April 10. More details can be obtained by contacting Katie Hux at heartofohiofarmersmarket@gmail.com or following the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market Facebook page.

According to its Facebook page, Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market aims to address community needs through the sale of locally grown food and agricultural products. The market provides a space for vendors to sell fresh produce and homemade goods while supporting regional farmers and small businesses.
