Irma Pinkerton, 93, of Centerburg, passed away on Sunday morning, December 29, 2024, at Willow Brook at Delaware Run, following an extended illness. She was born on February 18, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Roger and Charlotte Enda Hall.
A woman of unwavering faith, Irma was a former member of the Church of the Messiah in Westerville and a current member of the Centerburg United Methodist Church. Her life was a testament to love and kindness, as she dedicated herself to her family and home. Irma took great joy in helping others and was known for her adventurous spirit, which included roller skating, bird watching, and camping with family and friends.
Irma is survived by her devoted children, Steve (Ellanda) Pinkerton of Sunbury and Kathy Clark of Mount Vernon; grandsons, Jason (Denise), Shane, Jarrod, Justin (Amanda), and Benjamin (Sierra); 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, Jack (Sophie) Hall and William (Gayle) Hall.
Irma was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 68 years, William I. Pinkerton, who passed away in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her brother Don Hall and his wife Georgia, and her sister Norma Gushell and her husband Bull.
