The East Knox Bulldogs secured their first win of the 2024-2025 boys basketball season on December 7, defeating Amanda-Clearcreek 50-43. The victory improves East Knox’s record to 1-2.
Senior Hayden Merritt led the Bulldogs with 19 points, while junior Kyson Miller contributed 14 points to the win. Senior Corbin Poff also played a key role, adding 8 points to the team’s total.
East Knox’s defense and balanced scoring attack helped the Bulldogs maintain control throughout the game, as they fought off a late push from Amanda-Clearcreek to earn the seven-point victory.
The Bulldogs will look to build on this win as they continue their season.
