Northmor cruised to a 37-6 win over Grandview Heights on Friday, securing a spot in the OHSAA Division VI State Semifinals.
Quarterback AJ Bower threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns on 19 attempts, while wide receiver Jaxson Wenger hauled in two touchdown passes and 134 yards, including a 59-yard reception.
The victory kept Northmor undefeated at 14-0, with the team averaging 38 points per game this season. Grandview Heights, which had been riding a 12-game win streak, fell to 12-1 with the loss.
Northmor will face Kirtland at 7 p.m. Friday in the state semifinals. Kirtland has scored 31 or more points in each of its last 11 games.
