Marilyn (Fawcett) Agnew passed away after a brief illness on June 23, 2024, at the age of 84 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Marilyn was born Feb. 2, 1940, to Earl Fawcett and E. Ruth Fawcett (Sefts) in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Marilyn graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1958 and married Lawrence W. Agnew on Aug. 10, 1958. After Lawrence died in 1964, Marilyn became a legal secretary. She moved to Palm Beach County, Florida in 1972 and worked as a paralegal for many years before retiring at the age of 77. She is survived by her two daughters, Vicki DeHayes (Randall) and Colette Atkinson, seven grandchildren Ryan (Sarah) DeHayes, Lindsey (Steven) Carothers, Taylor DeHayes, Kate Atkinson, Kristen (Keith) Hnasko, Kenneth (Brittany) Atkinson, Renee (Benjamin) Gemmi, as well as four great-grandchildren, Kylie, Jack, Olivia, and Theo. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
