Utica girls pick up 5 wins at Worthington Christian Invitational

The Utica Girls Varsity Golf team picked up five more wins at the Worthington Christian Invitational on Saturday.

Emily Meyers had her best 18-hole score of the season, with Reese Radabaugh just 2 strokes from matching her best 18-hole round.

Laney Lambert, Abby Rodichok, and Addison Kerstetter all performed solidly being a few strokes away from their respective season-best 18-hole performances.

On Sept. 3, the Utica Girls Varsity Golf Team had their best finish in the Licking County League, led by Laney Lambert’s 91. Lambert narrowly missed finishing in the top 10 in the LCL at Denison Golf Course.

The next four finishers for Utica were: Reese Radabaugh, Abby Rodichok, and Addison Kerstetter.

The 12-player team hosted their parents and friends Thursday at Irish Hills for a fun midseason golfer/ guest scramble before the varsity was back in action for the Worthington Christian’s Invitational.

These performances followed the 14-team Freddie Invitational at Vernon View Golf Course on Aug. 31, with Lambert leading the team with the low score.

Utica collected five ins and reduced their 9-hole scoring average.
