Northmor started its season on fire, jumping out to a 41-0 lead in the first half behind its big-play offense en route to a convincing 48-14 victory over Upper Sandusky.
Quarterback AJ Bower was 10-of-13 for 322 yards and 3 touchdowns in the victory. Bower hooked up with Jax Wenger for a 60-yard strike, Cameron Goldbach for a 50-yard tally and Cowin Becker for a 13-yard pass. Bo Landin caught four balls for 160 yards but did not find the end zone.
Carson Campbell scored twice on the ground for Northmor (1-0) on runs of 37 and 3 yards. Becker rounded out the scoring in the fourth quarter with a 19-yard scamper.
Ethan Lewis scored both Upper Sandusky second-half touchdowns on runs of 10 and 3 yards. Lewis ran for 64 yards on 20 carries.
Northmor out gained Upper Sandusky (0-1) 421 yards to 191yards.
