The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging has announced the recipients of the 2024 Outstanding Senior Awards and the Community Service Award. These awards honor individuals and one organization who have made exceptional contributions to their communities.
The Area Agency on Aging Corporate Board of Trustees and Advisory Council received numerous nominations for this prestigious award, and after thorough consideration, the following individuals emerged as the outstanding individuals in their county:

Lynette Crum of Huron County
Joseph and Donna Gutridge of Knox County
Gabriel and Ednita Vaflor of Marion County
Patrick Drouhard of Morrow County

Janet Schueler of Seneca County
Rita and Larry Bennett of Wyandot County
Community Service Award of 2024:
Project ONE-ARC of Richland County
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Area Agency on Aging, located at 2131 Park Avenue West, Ontario, OH 44903, in the Hawkins Conference Center.
