On Saturday May 18th 2024, Deputies were dispatched to a residence on New Delaware Rd. on the report of a disturbance. After officers arrived on scene and investigated the incident, they arrested a 39 year old male for domestic violence.

On May 18, 2024, a caller reported that there was physical altercation in the parking lot of a store in Danville. Deputies responded and made contact with all the parties involved. Photographs were taken, Statement forms were collected and camera footage was reviewed. A report was completed for review to be sent to Municipal Court.

CIVIL ISSUES ADVICE GIVEN

On May 29, 2024 Deputies were dispatched to 207 E. Walnut Street Danville OH, 43014 (Danville Commons) on the report of a threats call. After deputies arrived and spoke with the complainant it was determined that there were no threats and it was a civil issue. Deputies gave the complainant advice and a report was filed.

On 5/19/24 Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Flat Run Rd. in reference to an active domestic violence. The male half was arrested and taken to the Knox County jail. Statements and photographs were collected and a report was taken.

On 5/23/24 Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Pealer Mill Rd. The complainant advised that there was what appeared to be a bullet hole in their window. Deputies arrived on scene and took photographs. A report was taken for documentation.

On Thursday, May 23, 2024 deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Road on a possible burglary in progress. Complainant stated that he observed two male individuals attempting to gain access into his external garage and confronted them. Complainant stated that the male individuals then fled the area on foot. Statements and photographs were collected on-scene and a report was written for documentation purposes.

Arrest Outstanding Warrant

On May 24th, 2024, deputies were dispatched to 36 S. Hartford Ave. Centerburg, on a report of a person with an Outstanding Warrant. After officers arrived on scene, a 34 year old male was arrested and transported to Knox County Sheriff's Office.

On Friday May 24, 2024 Deputies responded to a disturbance between two females. One female was taken into custody and transported to the Knox County Jail then released to jail staff.

On 28 May, a Knox County Deputy was dispatched in reference to a possible suicidal female who was in a chat with a suicide hotline. Dispatch was able to find the residence and the Deputy made contact with the female. The female was pink slipped and transported to the Knox Community Hospital for treatment and a report was filed.

On 5/25/24 Deputies were dispatched to a business on Columbus Rd. in reference to a burglary. Photographs and and statements were collected. A report was taken for documentation.

On 5/28/24 Deputies were dispatched to a business on Columbus Rd. in reference to a business alarm. Upon arrival Deputies located an unsecured door. While sweeping the building Deputies noticed the cash register was broken open.

Photographs were taken and a report was taken for documentation.

The complainant advised that she received a phone call from an individual identifying himself as law enforcement and advised the complainant that she had missed a Grand jury appearance and there was a warrant for her arrest. The complainant paid an alleged bond electronically and later found out the phone call was fraudulent.
