"It was a good win for us," Coach Marhefka said. "Cardington played very well and has been excellent throughout the year. Trevin and Grayson were focused and executed well. I believe the preparation helped not only them, but the entire team. As we continue to move forward we are focusing on the process and attempting to maximize our team's ability. Hopefully that was what worked and will continue to work for us moving forward."
Centerburg travels to Fredericktown (5-5, 3-2) on Jan. 17 for another KMAC battle. The Pirates host KMAC rival Mount Gilead (3-6, 1-3) on Jan. 17, as well.
