Knox Community Hospital (KCH) has welcomed the first baby of the new year.

KCH announced that Anna Jo was born at 10:27 on Jan. 2, weighing in at nine pounds and six ounces.

“It’s such a cool experience being able to usher in the new year in such an exciting way. We couldn't envision a better start to 2024,” Anna Jo's father said.

Knox Community Hospital is thrilled to start the new year strong after having a record number of deliveries in 2023, with a total of 529 babies, 276 boys and 253 girls.
