Beverly Ann Swick, 89, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at The Ohio Eastern Star Home.

She was born on January 7, 1934, in Licking County to the late Raymond L. and Ola M. (Stradley) Hughes.

Beverly was a member of the Brandon Baptist Church, and the Ohio Eastern Star – Knox Chapter 236 where she served as a past Worthy Matron. She retired from Ohio Power after 23 years with the company. Beverly enjoyed camping, traveling, watching NASCAR, OSU football, and watching her great grandkids sporting events.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Regina, and Darrell Biffath of Mount Vernon, two granddaughters, Tina (Brad) Spearman and Tara (Scott) Stiltner, four great grandchildren, Bailey Spearman, Braden Spearman, Jacob Stiltner, Lucas Stiltner; a brother, Larry (Carol) Hughes; several nieces and nephews; along with her friends at the Living Center.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest W. Swick and a nephew, Brad Hughes.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Rd. in Mount Vernon. Where an Eastern Star service and funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Heart Association or the Brandon Baptist Church.
