Joseph Martin Bartzi Jr., 86, of Wadsworth, died Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Wadsworth Pointe.
Joseph was born June 14, 1937 in Doylestown, Ohio to Joseph Martin Sr. and Rose {Nagy} Bartzi.
He graduated from Norton High School in 1955. He served in the US Army Reserves.
He married Shirley Stine on May 4, 1963. She died December 11, 2022.
Joseph worked for Babcock and Wilcox then Firestone Tire and Rubber before finishing his career at Novar Controls. He enjoyed geocaching, HAM Radio operator KC8DKF, SCCA Racing, and many hobbies throughout his life.
Joseph was be deeply missed by son Bryan (Kerrie) Bartzi of Norton; brothers Jim (Cathy) Bartzi of Clinton, Ron Bartzi of Norton; and nephews Craig (Nina), Mike (Lori), Daryl (Patti), and Matt (Heather) Bartzi.
Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, brother Frank Bartzi.
