The Starlets, an LA based cover group, put their own twist on a number of classic 1960’s songs at the Knox Community Theatre Thursday night.
Performing classics such as, “Stupid Cupid” by Connie Francis and “Be My Baby” by The Ronettes.
The Starlets celebrated a by-gone era with a packed audience. The trio shared anecdotes about the impact these songs have had on their lives. The audience clapped along with several songs, and enthusiastically agreed that modern music cannot compare to the classics of the 1960s.
