The Fredericktown Freddies managed just 28 yards passing in a 35-0 loss to the Northmor Golden Knights, Friday night in Galion.
Quarterback A.J. Bower threw for three touchdowns-- two to Bo Landin (64, 13 yards) and one to Jax Wenger, all in the first half for the Knights (4-2), who added a one-yard rushing touchdown by Paul Cramer to take a 28-0 lead into halftime.
The 6'2, 175 pound junior Bower completed 11 of 15 passes for 218 on the night.
For Fredericktown (2-4), sophomore quarterback Blake Sipes completed four of 14 passes for 28 yards, throwing one interception.
Sipes ran 11 times for 37 yards and junior Elijah Rousch ran 12 times for 32 yards.
Trevor Bellman ran eight times for 30 yards and threw an interception for the Freddies (2-4), who were shut out for the third time this season.
Sipes completed two passes to sophomore Brode Davis and a pass to 6'5, 220 pound freshman tight end Gavin Toombs.
Fredericktown's Jordan Moore had four punts, averaging 27 yards.
Northmor had 18 first downs and 332 yards of total offense, compared to eight first downs and 127 yards for Fredericktown.
Bower has thrown for 17 touchdowns and 1,145 yards on the year for the Golden Knights.
Northmor has won seven of its last ten match-ups with Fredericktown.
Fredericktown head coach Will Hartley's all-time record is now 15-22 (2020-present).
Hartley also served as the Freddies' head coach from 2015-2017 and was 19-14 during that span.
