Mount Vernon will be the epicenter of a seismic shakeup in the wrestling world, on Sept. 23. Addicted 2 Wrestling (A2W) presents its next local event, "All Up In Your Grill," featuring a star-studded lineup of wrestling talent that promises to deliver a memorable night of high-octane wrestling action. This event, taking place at The Escape Zone at One Mansfield Street, is promoting what it says features “exciting matchups and electrifying atmosphere.”
Doors will swing open at 6 p.m., with the first bell ringing at 7 p.m., signaling the start of a night filled with power slams, suplexes, and thrilling acrobatics. The main event, featuring two heavy hitters, Cash Flo and Jake Crist, is anticipated to be a showstopper, a clash of titans that local wrestling fans have asked for. These two seasoned competitors are known for their relentless energy and uncompromising drive to win, and their head-to-head battle is expected to deliver wrestling thrills.
Also on the card, the Renegade JJ Deville has a score to settle with Dontavio. The Renegade, a wrestler with a knack for mind games, seeks to teach Dontavio a harsh lesson in trust—or rather, the lack of it. The Escape Zone, a Christ-centered, multi-denominational organization that provides “a fun, friendly, safe environment for all youth makes use of the Mount Vernon Armory and utilizes 13,000 square feet of Armory recreational space for kids of all ages. The group offers basketball, foosball, ping pong, Wii games and a second-floor gym to the kids and engages in feeding the poor.
