MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Schnormeier Gallery is proud to present Element – Senior Graphic Design Exhibit from April 11 to April 21. The exhibition will open on Tuesday, April 11 at 1 p.m. An opening reception for the Seniors will take place at the Gallery from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., on Friday, April 14.

The participating students: Jake Finnicum, Jessica Rummel, Hanna Sims and Bella Yoder address the concept of the four elements of earth as an ancient philosophical and mystical belief. All matter is composed of four basic elements: Earth, water, air and fire. But, in the context of graphic design, the term “elements” refers to the basic building blocks or components that make up a visual design. Join us as we celebrate the work of these talented graphic designers, who utilize visual elements effectively to tell stories while advocating and communicating messages in a meaningful way.

The Schnormeier Gallery is located at 221 S. Main St., Mount Vernon, on the first floor of MVNU’s Buchwald Center. It is open Monday through Friday, from 1-5 p.m. For more information, contact the Schnormeier gallery at artgallery@mvnu.edu.
