MOUNT VERNON – Beverly J. Davis, 80, of Mount Vernon passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the Select Medical Hospital in Columbus. She was born on Nov. 16, 1942, in Mount Vernon to the late Russell and Pauline (Dugeon) Litt.
Beverly retired with 30 years from the Mount Vernon Developmental Center, where she was the laundry manager. She enjoyed gardening, her feline companions, going to Pacemakers and was a huge Ohio State football fan. Beverly will be remembered for being a devout Christian woman.
Beverly is survived by her children, Stevie Lisa Callahan, Suzette Wright and Lance Wright; granddaughters, Serena Litt and Savanna McDonald; a great-granddaughter, Lila Kay McDonald; and brothers, Jeff and Jim Litt.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Davis, on Feb. 10, 2022; and a daughter, Shane Laura Wright, on Dec. 8, 1994.
