NEWARK – The Licking County Aging Program recently announced it has officially launched its rebrand as the newly identified Licking County Aging Partners (LCAP). Established through input from clients, staff, board members and the general public, the updated organization name, image and slogan, “Helping Adults Flourish, Together,” better frames LCAP’s values with a fresh outlook.
Licking County Aging Partners is more than just one program. It is a network of partners, volunteers and staff that cares about Licking County adults. For 50 years, LCAP has supported Licking County’s older adults by contributing to their independence, healthy lifestyles and guiding access to resources they need to age well and live healthier, happier lives.
At LCAP, the services are designed for each adult’s needs and desires. Services are built on a passion for helping others and changing lives for the better to create lasting community transformation. The new rebrand reflects how LCAP is serving not only today’s clients, but also future community members through the next 50 years.
LCAP believes in promoting and embracing the benefits of life after age 60 and is a proud partner in the national effort to counter agism called the “Reframing Aging Initiative.” In addition, LCAP is leading the county in the “Age-Friendly Initiative,” a program that studies the pillars of livability and encourages communities to address areas such as social and economic issues that improve the lives, not only of older adults, but everyone. Through initiatives like these, LCAP plans to see positive change in what aging looks like in Licking County.
Licking County Aging Partners is here to support Licking County for life. It is our desire to see older adults grow, age, and live their life to the fullest.
