BLADENSBURG – Lynette D. Schwartz, 62, of Bladensburg passed away at OSU Wexner Medical Center on Feb. 15, 2023. She was born on Feb. 8, 1961, to Harold and Ruth (Wright) Darling in Mount Vernon.
Lynette was a teachers aide for 25-plus years at East Knox Schools. Family was the most important thing to Lynette. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing ball with them and watching all of their games. What she loved most of all was simply spending time with her babies. She was a great help to them with 4-H, by helping tend to their animals and watching their shows. She was Maw Maw to many and a great and loving friend to all. Lynette was the grand marshall of the 2022 Bladensburg Christmas Parade. She loved volunteering for any Bladensburg community event and would help in any way that she could.
Lynette is survived by her husband, Michael, of 42 years; her children Sara (Kyle) Randall of Lexington, Jarrod (Melissa) Schwartz of Bladensburg, Kate (Brad) Leach of Bladensburg; bonus daughters Tiffany (Robert) Davis of Howard, Mallory (TS) Hysong of St. Louisville and Tiffany (Justin) Rine of Bladensburg; grandchildren Ryan, Zayne, Natalie, Parker, Brinley, Kendall, Colton, Reidleigh and Keith; bonus grandchildren Landen, Brayden and Carter; nieces Melissa ( Ryan) Wolfe of Canton and Mary (Aaron) Gilson of Columbus; along with the entire Schwartz family that was near and dear to her heart.
Lynette was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law Shirley Schwartz; sister Carolyn Kinney; brother- and sister-in-law Marion and Barb Darling; and brother-in-law Dan Divan.

Calling hours will be Saturday, Feb. 18, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. with a Memorial service at 3 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. Following the service there will be a meal at the Bladensburg Community Center in Bladensburg for all to attend.
