HOWARD – William Michael Harvilla, 75, of Howard, Ohio passed away on Dec. 18, 2022 at The Laurels of Mount Vernon.
He was born on Sept. 30, 1947 in Palmerton, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Mary (Matuska) Harvilla.
William enjoyed collecting and looking at coins and watching gangster movies. His all-time favorite was "Goodfellas." He also enjoyed working outside in the spring and summer months.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggi (Kyle) Harvilla; son, SFC William John Harvilla; daughter, Michelle McCance; two grandchildren, Liam and Roman Harvilla; brothers, Robert (Sara) Harvilla and Joseph (Monica) Harvilla; and a brother-in-law, Robert Kemmerer.
William was preceded in death by his parents, sister, MaryEllen Kemmerer and his mother and father-in-law, John and Marianne McKinley.
The family is observing private services.
