MOUNT VERNON – Tricia A. Zeiner, 49, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on Feb. 26, 1973, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Bill and Pat (Butcher) Krempel. Tricia was baptized as a member of the Newark Road Church of Christ.
Tricia was a 1991 graduate of Mount Vernon High School where she participated in softball and cheerleading. She had a heart of gold and was always taking in animals to care for them and provide a home for them. After graduation she earned her LPN from COTC and worked as a nurse for Whispering Hills Care Center in Mount Vernon. Tricia will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and will be sadly missed by all who know her.
Besides her parents she is survived by two sons, Wyatt Zeiner and Gavin Zeiner, a brother, David (Dorothy) Krempel of Mount Vernon, a niece, Alexandria Krempel, aunt and uncle, Dale and Nancy Gallogly, cousins, Rachel (Doug) Watson and Jessica (Chris) Adams and companion Clay Gallagher.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Hope Zeiner, paternal grandparents, John and Rowena Krempel, maternal grandparents, Bob and Hazel Butcher.
A graveside service will be held on Friday beginning at 12:30 p.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens with minister Russell Howard officiating.
Memorial contributions in Tricia’s name may be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
