Friday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. Recipe Exchange: Join us for our 8th annual cookie exchange. Prepare four dozen of your favorite cookies. Remember to bring the recipe, a container to transport your cookies home and an appetizer to share. Table service and drinks are provided.

Monday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m. Laser Workshop: Come to the workshop and create a holiday plate. Please call or stop by the library to register. All materials will be supplied.

Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. Crafting: Join us and create bubble wrap winter snow cards. Call or stop by the library to register. All materials are provided.

Wednesday, Dec. 7 and Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. Story Time with Miss Kathy: Join Miss Kathy for stories and activities for children from birth to preschool age. There will be a special Christmas party on Dec. 14 with a visit from Santa. Please note: There will be no Story Time on Dec. 21 and Dec. 28. Story Time will resume on Jan. 11, 2023, at 10 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 8 and Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. Ukulele Association of Homer: This is a time for fellow ukulele players to meet for ukulele practice and to share their enthusiasm for this unique instrument in an informal setting. There will be an experienced ukulele player in attendance to offer lessons. The library has ukuleles for lending and all ages are welcome to attend.

Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. Christmas Caroling: Meet at the library for caroling around the village of Homer. Afterward, return to the library for refreshments. All are welcome.

Thursday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. Movie & Pizza Night: Watch a movie with us and enjoy pizza too. The movie is “Scrooged” (1998) and is rated PG-13. Registration is required by Wednesday, Dec. 14. Call or stop by the library to save your spot.

Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 5:30 p.m. Teen Paint Night: Join us and create a winter fox painting. Please call the library to reserve your spot. All materials are provided.

Friday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. Book Club: The book selection this month is “A Redbird Christmas” by Fannie Flagg. Reserve your copy by calling or stopping by the library. Join us for an informal, interesting and lively discussion.
