Margaret Ann Ruhl (left) was named Ohio State Granger of the Year, presented by President Sue Roy of the Ohio State Grange. Ruhl has been a member of Wayne Grange for 50 years. In that time, she has held many offices from Master, Lady Assistant Steward and Ceres. Ruhl is the Community Service Chairperson for Wayne Grange and is responsible for activities like participating in the Fredericktown Farmer's Market, distributing dictionaries to the Fredericktown 3rd graders, participating in the Fredericktown Tomato Show Parade and the Centerburg Old Time Farming Festival Parade. Most recently, Ruhl held the position of Legislative Director of the Ohio State Grange. Ruhl is very active in many other organizations throughout the county.
