DANVILLE – Mary E. Byler, 77, died at home on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022.
She was born in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania on Sept. 6, 1945. She was the daughter of Emanuel V. and Mattie J. (Davis) Byler, who preceded her in death along with a grandson and a granddaughter. She married David J. Byler on Feb. 11, 1965. Mary was a member of the Old Order Amish.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David, her six children; Jonathan (Lovina) Byler, Valentine (Katie) Byler, Urie (Sarah) Byler, Emanuel (Mary) Byler, Andy (Katie) Byler, and Elizabeth (Eli) Hershberger all of Danville, 44 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will take place at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the residence, 29820 Aronhalt Road, Danville, OH 43014. Bishop Jonas A. Hershberger will officiate. Burial will follow in Mast Cemetery on Black Road. Friends and family may call anytime. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is assisting with arrangements.
