AMITY – Gretchen Harmon joined her parents in heaven on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

She was born on May 27, 1963, to Kenny and Suellen Harmon and grew up on a family farm in Amity, Ohio. After graduating from Mount Vernon High School in 1981, she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bowling Green State University. Gretchen loved music, reading and all of her animals.

She leaves behind her two sons, Josh Quaintance and Aaron Quaintance; and her great aunt, Jean Bower.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. in Amity Cemetery with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. The Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel is handling the services for the Harmon family.
