MOUNT VERNON – Nick Gaglione, a certified fitness trainer, will speak on Christian fitness Thursday, April 21, at 2 p.m. at the Gospel Christian Life Shop at 117 S Main St. in Mount Vernon.

Gaglione has his own YouTube channel called Lift with Christ. He was addicted to painkilling drugs after five knee surgeries, which led to him seeking a faith in Jesus Christ. He has partnered with Knox County resident Steve Feazel to author "Lose the Weight and Keep the Faith." The book is endorsed by Mike Huckabee and is an overview of their new ministry New Life Fitness (newlifefitness.org), which is designed to help Christians in churches to become healthier, physically, mentally and spiritually. 

Gaglione was recently married to Haley Harris, who has sung many times in Knox County, including the MVNU Homecoming concert this past November. She will sing a song at the event.
