MOUNT VERNON – Hospice of Knox County, a member of Hospice of North Central Ohio, hosted its annual Tree of Hope at the Knox County office on Monday, Dec. 6, at 5:30 p.m.
"A brief, but meaningful, ceremony took place to honor and remember loved ones we have lost," said a press release from Hospice of Knox County. "An evergreen tree on our property was decorated with a star that was designed and donated by Kepple Sheet Metal. The celebration included music and words in remembrance of loved ones. This tree will remain lit throughout the holiday season, in quiet remembrance of those who are no longer here."
The group thanked sponsors Robert & Marilyn Katter in memory of Noah Katter and Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center as well as Kepple Sheet Metal for the star tree topper.
“We hope that this service provided an opportunity for viewers to pause and reflect on those loved ones that have passed," said Kathy Wantland. "Anyone needing extra support with their loss is encouraged to reach out to us at Hospice of Knox County."
