JOHNSTOWN – L.Charlene Householder, 97, of Johnstown passed away on Dec. 1, 2021, at Middleton Senior Living. She was born on Sept. 15, 1924, in Johnstown to the late Van D. and Eva (Peters) Eder.
Charlene was a longtime member of Appleton United Methodist Church and the Mount Vernon Chapter - Ham Radio Club. She was a devoted cafeteria worker at Northridge Schools and enjoyed crocheting, jigsaw and crossword puzzles and ham radio.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lila and Joe Bolen; son and daughter-in-law, Rogerand Rhonda Householder; four grandchildren, Daniel (fiancée Rachel Lenk) Bolen, Curt (Kirby) Householder, Mitchell (Jennifer) Householder and Angela (fiancé Pat Foley) McMillen; seven great-grandchildren, Koby, Carly, Kenzie, Camden and Cali Householder, Skylar and Sierra McMillen; and Bentley and Rylan Householder; and special friends and neighbors, Bill and Sue Jacks and Jeff and Barb Van Fossen.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Householder; and son, Lee Householder.
A private graveside service will be held at Bennington Chapel Cemetery.
