A folk music concert to raise money for Mount Vernon’s Food For The Hungry campaign will be Monday, Dec. 6, in the Knox Memorial Theater at 7:30 p.m.
According to a press release, the concert will feature the music of Peter, Paul & Mary and Joan Baez performed by entertainers Sarah Goslee Reed, Bob Ford, Mike Petee, Chris Petee and Jeff Putman.
Donations will be accepted in person as well as online at elixirpresents.com. One hundred percent of the donations will go directly to Food For The Hungry, the release said.
The 2021 Food For The Hungry live broadcast and collection points will take place on Friday, Dec. 10.
