JOHNSTOWN – A funeral service for Janice Ann Edwards, 96, of Johnstown will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, at Law-Baker Funeral Home, with Pastor Bryan Moore officiating. Family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Burial will follow at Fredonia Cemetery.
Janice went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021. She was born March 19, 1925, in Burlington Township, Ohio, to the late Ernest and Mina (Bishop) Rhodeback.
She was a 1943 graduate of Johnstown High School. Janice was a member of the Appleton United Methodist Church and Bennington Grange. She was a homemaker, Real Estate Agent, and school cook for Northridge High School.
She is survived by her four children; daughters, Rita Wolfe of Reynoldsburg, Judy Piatt of Newark and Karen (Dan) Spears of Lewis Center; son Gary (Liz) Edwards of Utica; grandchildren, Josh Wolfe, Brett (Emily) Wolfe, Jessica DeCarolis, Jolene Nethers, Tim Spears, Jim (Wendy) Spears, Jenn (Daniel) Buzaleski, Ron Edwards, Travis Edwards and Misty (Chris) Legg; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jaden, Aubri and Ellianna Spears, Marion DeCarolis, Evie DeCarolis, Corin Legg, Mason Legg and Remy Wolfe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, of 67 years; son-in-law, Barry Wolfe; sister, Edna Wilcox; and brothers, Russell, Homer, Gail and infant brother, Lennis Rhodeback.
