The Sunday Evening Encounter services are now at 3 p.m. so attendees can drive home in daylight. Service is still at First Baptist Church, 303 S. Edgewood in Mount Vernon. This week, on Nov. 7, the Rev. Ray Sharpes will be speaking. He has pastored for 53 years. He has held Nazarene pastorates in Ohio, Pennsylvania and in Canada. He is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College and the Nazarene Seminary.
