MOUNT VERNON – Mr. And Mrs. Gerald (Gary) Fesler of Kenyon Road, Mount Vernon, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 20, 2021. Gary Fesler and the former Kathy Jones were united in marriage on Nov.  20, 1971, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Danville.  

The couple have two children, Heather D. Patel (Samir) of Montgomery, Texas, and Heath M. Fesler (Rachael) of Gambier. They have three grandchildren.

Gary served in the U. S. Navy for 4½ years, worked at Cuddy Farms and retired from his locksmith business, Lock & Key, in the Mount Vernon area. Kathy worked as high school secretary at Danville High School for 15 years and then at Knox County Job and Family Services, where she retired in 2010.  

A destination celebration will take place in Alamo, Texas, where they will enjoy the Rio Grande Valley and South Padre Island as Winter Texans.
