No fewer than 11 species of fish are listed in Ariel-Foundation Park's database, and the park encourages users to log in the fish they catch there to help maintain information about the lakes.

As the Mount Vernon News reported in November 2020, Center Lake underwent a major restocking by the Parks Department, adding 100 walleye, 2,000 minnows, 275 bass, 260 black crappies, 290 hybrid bluegill and 150 yellow perch. East Lake received 2,000 minnows, 150 yellow perch, 285 bluegill and 275 black crappies.
