Independence Day at Ye Olde Mill
Join for some Independence Day fun! The Newark Rod Runner's will be on site during the day showing off their classic cars and giving away cool prizes. Enjoy live music from Ty Perkins from 1–4 p.m. The Firecracker Sundae is the perfect treat to cap off your day.

Apple Valley Fireworks
The Apple Valley Property Owners Association will have its annual fireworks show. To watch from an Apple Valley facility, you must have an Apple Valley Property Owners Association ID.

Sunday, July 4
Ariel-Foundation Park
Ariel-Foundation Park will host Mount Vernon's fireworks on Sunday, July 4. The fireworks, expected to start around 10 p.m., will be preceded by a concert by Face-2-Face, the premier Billy Joel and Elton John tribute, at 6:30 p.m. in the Schnormeier Event Center. Admission is free.
