Mr. and Mrs. Robert Denzer are celebrating their marriage of 69 years.

They were married in Sugarcreek, Ohio, on June 8, 1952.

Robert and Sue are parents of two sons, John (Debra) and Andrew (Michele); and grandparents of three granddaughters, one deceased granddaughter and one great-grandson.

Mr. Denzer retired as the executive director of the Mount Vernon YMCA, serving 37 years.

Mrs. Denzer retired after 25 years of service as an elementary school music teacher of Mount Vernon City Schools and as director of choirs for the First Presbyterian Church, Mount Vernon.

They will celebrate their anniversary with family and friends.
