HOWARD – Marjorie L. Brose, 83, of Howard, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Brookdale Mount Vernon. She was born on May 2, 1938, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of David and Ruth (Walker) Sanner.

Marjorie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Hanover College and retired in 2003 after 25 years of employment as a social worker for Franklin County Children Services.

She is survived by a niece, Jennifer Baer; nephews, Christopher Baer and Jeff Sanner; and many friends. 

Besides her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her companion, Bill Baker; a sister, Kay Baer; and a brother, David Sanner.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
