ONTARIO – Micah Patricia James of Mount Gilead and Josiah Anthony Schoppelrei of Mount Vernon were united in marriage at 5 p.m. on May 22, 2021, at Sar Shalom in Ontario.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Crystal James, pastors of The Balm of Gilead Church located in Mount Gilead. The groom is the son of Todd and Juanita Schoppelrei, who are both active members of Sar Shalom.

The bridal party consisted of the Maid of Honor, Jayden James (her sister); and her bridesmaids, Sammy James (her sister-in-law) and Mercedes Seitter (her dear friend). The groomsmen consisted of the Best Man, Daniel Schoppelrei (his brother); and his groomsmen, Dorian James (the bride’s brother and groom’s dear friend) and Yerachmiel (Rocky) Harris (his cousin).

Micah is employed as a chiropractic assistant, and Josiah is employed as a forklift driver. They closed on their first house and now reside there, and they continue to be active in both The Balm of Gilead and Sar Shalom.
