MOUNT VERNON – Two stages, seven lives bands ... this wake will rock! To celebrate the life and music of Andrew Howard, there will be a 21-and-over benefit concert on June 12 at Legend's Sports Bar.
On the acoustic patio stage, Rese Jhordan will kick off the event at 4:30 p.m. The main stage will open up with Smoke & Mirrors at 5:30, followed by Magna Carta at 6:30, 6 Miles to Nellie at 7:30, Cattail Brew at 8:30 and Bourbon Train at 9:45. Plus, remember to stick around for the jam session inside Legend's at midnight.
There will be food trucks and a cash-only bar, with an ATM on-site.
Proceeds of the concert will benefit the family of Andrew Howard.
"Andrew was a fantastic musician and an even better human being," a press release from Carpalley & Legends Sports Bar & Grill said. "So well known and well liked that these bands all came together to put on an amazing show that would make Andrew proud."
Legend's Sports Bar is located at 110 Mount Vernon Ave. in Mount Vernon. Tickets for the event, which is restricted to those age 21 and up, will be available for pre-sale at EventBrite.com, Legend's Sports Bar & Grill, Carpalley's and The Bad Apple Pub.
