MARENGO – Sharon S. Alvarez, 73, of Marengo, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at the Bennington Glen Nursing Home. She was born on July 1, 1947, in Marietta, the daughter of Marvel and Mary (Russell) Jordan.
Sharon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed reading and watching television. Sharon was a mom to everyone and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Matthew (Jessica Snelling) Alvarez of Mount Vernon; a brother, Richard Jordan of West Virginia; and a sister, Belva Pryor of Caldwell.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 14, in Brandon Cemetery.
